Snakes? They're just big worms with teeth aren't they? :dodge:

The snakes I didn't mind; I lived in Brisbane suburbs, and despite being near a bit of bush and scrub we never really had a problem with it. Once while riding my mountain bike I saw what looked like a brown snake whizz across the path, which made me just about shit my pants, but I didn't use to worry about it too much.

What I don't miss is the motherfucking huge cockroaches (not talking about people from Sydney here :P) and spiders and stuff. Huntsmen especially. I don't like creepy-crawly stuff. That said, I spent a while there and never got bitten or anything so I think people tend to over-rate it.

Far worse are the actual wildlife that are sometimes called Australians.

I'm looking forward to a visit to the NSW Reptile Park! A female friend wants to take me and my flatmate there. I'm definitely gonna put a python around my neck and get a photo taken! I hope to get it to "kiss" my flatmate's nose with it's tongue! He absolutly hates snakes! :devil2:
