:sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: , Is now out, lots of blue sky over pukekohe, however @ the track heavey fog still, from track crossing gates, near bridge that out of towners have to pay to cross  , I can't see the first corner north, and I can only just make out the end of the pit sheds,
However I guess this will burn off more as the morning goes on. From the top of puke hill, Its fog over Waikato, ridges tops of the great 22 are visable(just), Bombays now visable, slight southerly wind of about 4-5knts, cloud to the south, but high and scattered atm.

No one at the track 10 mins ago, maybe its a bit early for Gary, I will do one more up date on weather at 10.00 hours, then I;'ll ride down the track,

Will be doing some form of road ride, will see who turns up at Puke, or will shoot up later and meet riders at BOMBAY autobahn..

well despite these dickhead weather 4casters, it was a good day. :sunny:

I dropped into Puke to watch my buddy MR do some laps and meet with some KBers, while MR was warming up my cell phone decided to shit it self, so sorry those guys who tired to tx me.

We stopped for a while to chat, Marmoot , Gary, (not sure if your a KBer Gary)Mike and Zed turned up, also a couple of non riders, when we finally stopped talking shit and went to ride off we had to wait another 20 mins as we were to slow to cross back over the track

Anyway the delay was good cause when we got over the other side Duckman and Dave turned up, so we grabed some gas and shot down good old 22.road was dry and as always it was a great ride..

Riders of the day that proved hard to catch Marmoot and Zed... :first: anyway we stopped at BP Naragwhia for coffee and Pukeko pies yum yum.

My fav moment of the day to see my two mates, Zed and Mike sitting together as only two good mates could do :spudwave: .

On the way again this time we sneaked down the otherside of the river to huntly, and did rotowaro to 22, a well kept secret, that I am loathed to share
again Marmoot who like me knows the road put up a great pace, well done Zed for keeping on Marmoots heals on a road you did not know, and Gary you and your pesky CBR 1000, you hard man to shake off well done also since you did not know the road.

Back on 22, we all turned up the heat and had a ball heading back, stopped to wait for the rear guard and found my radiator had sprung a leak :brick: , so being a very mecahnical type I decided the best way was to go like fuck(keep the airflow going) back to Pukekohe, and I have just spent the last 30 mins pulling the dam thing out , :sweatdrop , so now I can't ride Sunday :brick: .

Thanks for the great day guys, Marmoot, Zed, Mike L,Duckman, Gary, and Dave(not sure of your KB name) and to the guys who tried to tx me sorry, will make sure I get phone sorted b4 next time.

...it was a good day. :sunny: ...I concur! In fact I think that was one of the most enjoyable rides I've ever had - about 5 hours worth of awesome cageless open roads alongside 5-6 other capable riders. No major mishaps either (I had to revisit the drain where I binned it last time...just takes a split second of lost concentration to end up on your back).

Thanks for the pleasant company guys...it's very fulfilling to be back on my motorcycle after a forced 3 week break. Bike performed well too!

Btw F/F, the other Dave is known as 750Y on KB.

Looking foward to the next ride. :spudwave:

Thanks guys. May there be many more.

Sounds like a good day!
Shame about the radiator problemm F/F hope this is not to costly to fix.
Would have come myself but went for a ride a bit closer to home with KK and friend up Old North, we had a couple of showers which was a shame as the roads never got a chance to dry off but over all great ride.
