Hey all, haven't been online for a couple of days.. see there's a bit of bad news floating around aye. But on a happier note....

My wife Renee gave birth to our wonderful baby daughter "Isabella Brooke" at 5:44pm, 30th Nov at North Shore Hospital, 7lb 8oz. Shit what an amazing experience, never been so overwhelmed with emotions in my whole life!

We transferred up to Warkworth Birthing Clinic that night - can't say enough about the quailty of post natal care we recieved there, what an absolutley top bunch of people, Nay was so confindent we came home on Saturday morning!

Wife and baby doing really well, I've even been able to get some shut-eye.

Cheers everyone.

Good on ya mate. A real man isnt ashamed to cry at the birth of a child....(ahem).

Thanks for giving us some good news.

All the best, and if I can make one recommendation - get a baby monitor - they let you sleep at night without checking theyre breathing every 5 minutes.

She's beautiful! Your little miracle! It is nice to hear good news amongst all the sadness of the weekend tragedies.

Congrats mate! I remember being overcome with emotion (and relief) when my first was born - thought I'd be all hardened to it for the second one, boy was I wrong! once I could see that mother and baby were healthy I made my excuses and collapsed in the corridor outside!

You're a dad now - getting out on the bike when you want to is gonna get a whole lot harder....but it's worth it for the littlies!

All the best to you and yours.
