Thank you for my birthday wishes and PMs.
My day started off well. My coffee shop that I visit each morning gave me a free coffee and 3 chocolate fish and I lifted my cup and on the serviette they had written Happy 21st Birthday Shirley cheeky buggers - flattery will get them anywhere!!

I had lunch with 3 biker friends and the subject touched on Bruce and Darryl and briefly the Wairapa one but no name was mentioned there. I logged onto kb after my lunch and was absolutely stunned to learn Uncle B had been killed. I shed a few tears. Still in shock about it.

To my KB friends that were close to the three people that died, my thoughts and love are with you - you know who you are.

I made a birthday cake for work - first time I've ever done that - I honestly wasn't trying to poisen them!

Suppose to go out to dinner tonite with friends - not easy when I feel so sad.
I wish I had my bike so I could honour Bruce at his funeral. Maybe someone would like to pillion me - must be a safe rider of course!

Isn't it great tho to have such a supportive warm fellowship as KB, I feel proud to be a small part of it.

They started working on my bike today. Waiting for the part from Japan - hopefully that arrives next week. The earliest possible would be friday week.

I think they've got the idea that I am desperate for my bike!! Otherwise I will definitely need Prozac.

Good to hear! I well understand your need for two wheels of freedom ... as for the part ... I finally got my little replacement knob and screw for my trip meter. Only took 6 weeks for it to arrive! :mellow: Happy Birthday anyhows and let's hope the early present is a ridable bike! :yes: :scooter:
