I've had my bike for 3 months now and have never had a problem untill now. Its a 1998 Honda Vtr 250. When im riding along and open the throttle right open the revs dont go up fast and it coughs and splutters a bit. Any1 know what the problem might be?
Cheers

does it make a difference if you slightly close the throttle a bit?

Maybe cause it's a honda? :dodge: j/k
Someone who knows VTR's and engines a bit better can hopefully give you some more constructive advice.

well my thoughts are the turny bits on the carbs that the cable connects too is opening but then rotating too far and thus part closing again - ive suspected my bike of this for awhile.
