I see the yoshi teams cant test cos their bikes are stuck in customs. they will be pleased.

speaking of yoshi suzuki, shaun have you ever met peter doyle? (team manager for Mladin and spies) he sounds like a pretty straight up sort of fellow. go to mcnews.com.au and read his update on the american agenda, it is pretty funny.

Only a couple of the teams use Motec over there Brian, Motec is big with the UK teams though

Thats why I think I noticed it ,,, I hope they do break into the US market , they were kind to me and the people who i talked with were very forthcoming with help and info

I did some test riding for a Suzuki team in spain 2 years ago to help set up there Motec gear, we had a guy with us from the UK to do all the input stuff, dam amazing what you can do with that stuff!

The graphs could show where I was off line by 10mm:gob: or a split second slower or faster on or off the throttle, but the best bit was the traction control, you could litterally ride a GSXR 1000 Putting out 192HP Genuine at the rear wheel like is was a 250 in the WET

Honda aussie run full motoc also if i am not mistaken, dash assys and all.
My tesh advisor runs full motec on a few sprint boats he tunes (very successfully) there are sensors galore. he also says they are great to deal with.
They probably have stomach acidicy sensors to tell you to lean out your diet. very nice gear, also a very nice price tag.

I agree, i have an HRC data logger on my 600 for off season testing (no I don't use it at nationals shaun!!) mainly for fueling because we have no dyno here to tell me if my lambda changes are good or bad. (no way is it powerful enough to run traction control etc). The HRC one is pretty cheap for the quality of it and the functions it performs, but you know that if they were allowed at nationals there would definately be some big money spent (at least people wouldn't care about tyre budgets though).

Why data loggers , I can understand traction control , but single channel data loggers are cheap as ..

Because it has the pit lane speed limiter that makes his bike sound cool and gives him a hard on! It does sound cool though
