CUNTING DHL TRUCKS
yeesh, okay. i was standin at victoria street/nelson street traffic lights (infront of empire tavern) when a DHL truck comes by, two wheels on the curb, smashes into the traffic light, owns it, tears half the electrics of the fucker and almost kills me, then i have to dodge traffic light shrapnel/dhl logos/broken bits of coloured glass... FUCKEN ARSEHOLE! he doesnt even stop to see what happened! He took off in a hurry but im sure he got an earfull of abuse! Okay, so i drop my two bottles of coke and my bicycle and go to collect the pieces of traffic light crap/glass/lamps off the road so the good people watching dont need to drive over sharp things.... FUCKEN! well, i didnt get hit by anything, guess i better thank my mildly abusive older brother for the improved reflexes...
FUCKEN DHL BOLLOCKS! sadly, the cunt got away before i could get the plate number....
Fucken
rant over

Phone DHL and make a complaint, the driver will have to put an insurance claim in at some stage. If they refuse to follow it up then contact the police and Auckland City Council as they will have to follow up what amounts to a "hit and run"

Good luck. City Council will want reimbursement of traffic lights anyway - and DHL probably have the GPS installed - keeps track of where their drivers are so they don't slack off!! Driver not too bright me thinks!!

i know DHL have package tracking so they can definetly hunt the arse down...
When i get my hands on that bastard.... ugh...

He's probably not the sharpest tool in the shed! So he takes off, hopes that everything will be all right and that he won't be caught. Yet as above; he's probably got GPS in his truck. Not to mention that taking out a traffic light is going to inflict quite some damage on his truck, which I'm sure he's going to have/try to explain to his boss!!! Glad to hear you're ok!!! Very thoughtful of you picking all the glass off the road right away!!! Hope he gets done!!!

"Dear Denis
Thank you for your email via the DHL webpage. DHL has 4 different business units operating trucks in Auckland. At this stage I have spoken to the Operations managers who are making enquiries regarding your report. Please be assured that your report will be forwarded to the appropriate person for a response.
Regards
Shirley Bray
PA to Managing Director"

definetly... i dont need any sort of compensation cause nothing happened to me (booya for reflexes). Seeing the prick get fired however... that will put a smile on my face for atleast a week... Ive formally requested a written apology from both the company and the arsehole that almost put me in a state of unhappy dissmemberment...

Dear sir,
Thank you for your letter. Our company has a reputation for delivering on time every time. Our driver was honouring that commitment to our customers, and I can assure you that he fully intended returning to the scene to make sure you were ok and to sort out any damage.
He also informs us that the accident was caused by the fact that you rode into his path and he was forced to take drastic action to avoid running you over. Our insurance company will be in touch to discuss liability in this matter.
Thanks and regards,
Isucka Lotadick,
General Manager.

SWEEEEEEETTTT!!!!!
Take it to the cops... isn't there a rule about leaving the scene of an injury accident or something? And the GM just confirmed in writing that hthe driver was unsure about your status, and hoped to get back and check after the parcels were delivered????
This is a pisstake right?

As long as they dont ride a Hobag, they tend to fall apart if you use the throttle, or even start the engine for that matter.

I can see it now....... man walks in the door. "Hi darling im home". 10 kids and a preggy wife race to the door to see their truck driving dad whos been on the road for 11hrs to make ends meet. "How was your day darling". "You wont believe it, some farker jumped out in front of me today......and errm ah im now suspended without pay."
The poor guy probally needs to take speed to get him through the day 1,2 maybe 3 lapeses in judgement and he gets fried. Cumon lets think of our druggy truckkie mates.

Exactly! The DHL guy should get a medal for that. The city is littered with them and they serve ABSOLUTELY no purpose.
When I used to take my car to work in rush hour, it took me about 25 minutes all things equal. A mere 3.6 k's and 21 traffic lights. I had to drop something off in the car on Wed night - NO TRAFFIC - STILL 25 MINUTES!!!
NZ - The land of incompetence.
GO DHL!!!
