Northland Trail Rides 2006-07

I see there are dates for Tutamoe (4th February '07) and for the Family Weekend at Waiotira (same weekend, 3rd-5th), but has anyone got dates for 'The Hooker' at Hukerunui, and the Bullrun? Also, is there going to be another Ride at Mike Johanson's farm at Kahoe?

If anyone's got any other dates for these or other Northland trail rides can they please post them here?

AN '07 KTM 450! I can only dream! My Husky's getting repaired under warranty, although I haven't heard a peep out of them, so I hope all's well. There's not to many of us die hard Husky riders, so if you see me on the trail, give me a yell.

Chipster--There is a school fundraising trail ride this weekend (17th of Dec) at Purua near Whangarei. Northland trail ride dates l know of so far are.....

Te Kopuru...4th June
These dates may change and some dates have yet to be set.

I will probably run a ride on my farm at Kahoe in late March or early April and possibly another one in early January. (I will post confirmation dates as soon as l have it sorted)
And there maybe another Hikurangi ride in late January.

Well, I've juast heard back from the dealer that my Husky is all fixed up and ready for collection. All I need to do now is get her back from Auckland!!! Anyone got a ute/truck coming up from Auckland before 7th Jan (Kahoe trail ride date) that could bring her up for me? If not, it's a ute trip from Kerikeri down to Auck and back to bring her back.

2/2 so far & this was the best of the pair, not good if you wanted open riding, but if you like tight twisty riding it was just awesome, really nice layout, with some awesome hills, especially the last piece of the expert section, which would have been real ugly if you tried it going slow ( some nasty holes you jumped flat in 2nd ).
Pretty dry/dusty though a nice breeze kept things in check, apparently being dry was better than the mud bath of the same track last year ( at a later time ).
All up a great day & looking forward to the rest of the Summer :).

Mike........ The Huka trail ride. Is that yours or Greg Powers? I have heard from Greg that he is not running one up here this season.
