I tried one on is what used to be Sawyers, very cool! Unless you're taking a pillion of course...

Very cool. Is it a mirror that it uses, or a digital camera plus LCD? I suppose you could use mirrors to reflect the light over the top of your head but it sure would be bulky... on the other hand you have to change batteries if it's a camera + HUD set up.

Its all done with mirrors,that one we had at Sawyers,was heavy,quite tall with the gadgets in it,two complaints I had
First,the mirror is fiddly to look at
Second,you cant turn it off,so you can get sun strike or headlamp glare from both the front & rear

The Helmets are hand made in Italy and are then shipped to Australia and NZ. We expect them to be available for delivery in 8-10 weeks.

I reckon its a pretty good idea, which will only get better.
However, I dont have too much trouble looking behind me now, and find my awareness on a bike vs car, is much better on a bike. I just feel less enclosed and able to check everywhere easily.
