So who's planning on going to this?
Is everyone keen to go for a quiet one or two afterwards.
MrsLemur and I are both in. She's surprisingly excited about it (maybe it's just we don't get to go out together much these days).
Where do people want to go for the quiet pint?

I wandered down to the Academy at lunchtime and got my ticket ($12.50), I got seat E9, I thought I’d tell you that in case you want to sit near me or as far away as possible. The tickets are available at the Academy, but the movie is actually at the Southern Ballet room (don’t forget your tutu Mr S), it’s opposite Cloisters, still in the Arts Centre. It seats around 100 and there are now 4 tickets sold. I’ll be at the Academy at 7.15 to show you where the movie is if you like, as the directions I got were confusing.

Me a piss-head.... no way... And anyway I have a paranoia of becoming dehidrated  I was a very good drinking boy on that KB weekend... Did not want to get a bad rep...
But you on the other hand...

Well went and got tickets for Jay and me yesterday after work E6-7. Looks like most of you have tickets form what I saw. A huddle group of about 15 was all that was marked.
Should be good. The wife especially is looking forward to it. We watched 6 eps of LWR, so her appetite for bike adventure docos has officially been wetted.

You looked like you were enjoying from where I was sitting (and I don't mean the film).
Anyway, I for one enjoyed the DVD. A story of a couple of blokes on there last big trip, and a brief glimpse of the issues they had, the roads or lack of, the bikes, and of course the scenery. I must do something similar myself one day.
Bought the book now to read it.

My wife and I decided to go to this one, I was supprised that the theatre was pretty full, even for a quaint wee thing that it was.
Ness (my wife) and myself were pretty inspired by the story given she is much a non biker, she realy enjoyed it.
Great to see a couple of jokers get out there and realise there dream.
It was cool to have the wee talk before and after the showing, by Des.

You can join in the fun next time if you want  You weren't even behind (????) us.
The movie was awesome - couple of bikes and couple of fellas with a dream and the time to make it happen and do it. Great to see the mostly full theater and as previously mentioned have the talks from Des.
I'm defiantly keen on a cross content trip one day (in the next 50 years).

Yep, it was a great story. Great to meet Des and have the story in his own words before and after the movie, and the Q&A session afterwards was great too. Thanks for letting us know about this Merv.
