I bought a ""Accurate" (that its trade name I think) air pressure gauge about 18 months ago, I think I paid about NZ$70.00 for it, its got the doofer that holds the reading till you push the thingy on the side, anyway It crapped out the other day, nothing to do with me being short tempered or rough on gear. Took it back to our local bike shop were I got it just to see if they could do anything for me. :buggerd: me,the distrubuter is going to replace it with out argument, was told they are sending a brand new one out to replace it, seems it has a life time warranty.
Not bad I reckon. :niceone:

This also brings up an interesting point - we always say to get your own pressure gauge - but how many of us remember to get it checked once in a while for accuracy?

I hear the lady in that shop thinks rather highly of our manly firefighter...
Anyways good report mate! thats sold me, an accugauge i go and buy real soon!
One last comment, at the end of the day it doesnt actually matter too much if the gauge is out! even by 5psi or whatever! if on my gauge i like my tyres @ 52/55 then thats what i set them too on MY gauge. the only downside of that is you guys go WHAT? YOU RUN 50+ PSI? ---by whos gauge?.
