Hi All,
I have been riding up to Huia beach whenever i need a short run close to home. I personally find the route to be quite good as it has heaps of nice flowing corners. The road surface is not bad and you dont have to get up to lose your license speeds to have fun on these roads. Moreover it is a short run and provides you with an option to continue on towards PIHA or then just ride along the SCENIC DRIVE and get up to Swanson .
I'd like to hear from people who may be interested to come along for these short rides.
Personally i cant wait 5 days for every weekend to go out for a ride i need my mid week fixes atleast 5 times a week to keep me sane.
I have one more person who has a ZX11 keen on doing these rides and iam on a blaackbird so it can be a fun ride depending on who comes along. Learners and newbies are more than welcome(we can try to get a mentor along for you guys, i teach my mrs to ride on this road and it is good for cornering practise and gear selection, roads are wide enough so its not risky)
Feel free to drop aline

Will try and make it tomorrow (depending on work). Do you allow scooters??!! I used to have a real bike once, so does that count.

Either be tail end charlie (lol) or I'll get on the road at 6.30 so I can have a head start -latter is the better option me thinks

Cheers

Its only a short ride ,I think your 150 should stay together. Moreover its not high speed , just heaps of smooth corners . I reckon 20 odd minutes to get there and the same to get back. All up the ride should take an hour to get through. Keeps the Mrs happy. Please confirm if you are coming cause if no one confirms then i might leave straight from home.

I would be keen on the next ride organised. Its always good to get on the bike in the middle of the week, especially come the weekend and the weather packs in.
