Please post pictures of scary bike engines in this thread. Weird, bizzare, not necessarily big though.
Here's my contribution, a Hirth Honker 790cc Two-stroke, currently on sale at Buckets and Bits in the Hutt. Put this in your bike and smoke it!!
Terrifying, yet... I do want it.

Stepped Piston Motorcycle Engine. (Link (http://users.breathe.com/prhooper/mcycle.htm))
The same guy did a stepped piston V8 which was in Classic Bike some time ago.
He may have also been behind the 500cc 2 stroke Norton back in the 1970's.

It would appear, dear sir, that you are in fact correct. (http://users.breathe.com/prhooper/bhe.htm)

A mate of mine is building a couple of these, one for a customer, and his own as he goes along.Carrillo rods,I forget what pistons,he's fitted a Sportster oil pump, lots of other mods to make them a usable engine in the modern world.A couple of weeks ago he was making moulds for some new crankcases, making them a bit stronger etc. Will be interesting if he ever finishes them.

The pink spark plugs (Lodge ?) are a nice original touch. But the carbs are way anachronistic, amal Monoblocs, not suitable at all. Lot of money for an engine thats an awful long way from running and I suspect may be a bitzer.

At least it's an H configuration. The Lion's W shape would be a right pain.
I reckon you could do it. You'd only need to stretch the frame about 3 metres.
