Hi Fungus. Have you been to the bucket races before? Are you coming out this sunday ? There will be a heap of KBers there look for 68, 88, 83. What sort of bucket were you thinking about. FXR150's are pretty good and dont take much taking care of. But are in the $800 to $2000 range. Look on Tardme often thats where I got my FXR. The crashed ones are good all the plastic is prebroken and expensive to fix. The 2 strokes are good but you need to have a bit of mechanical sypmpathy to get them sussed. There was a good honda engined special sold recently for about $500 . If you get the chance think twice buy once. Hope to see you Sunday

Have fixed it I thought took it to taupo and melted another piston. so wont be there. May come for a look though.
Would it make it all the way to the shops and back on just one piston ?
requires a rebuild every 100 meters. makes for expensive milk and bread

Hi guys,
how many of you are coming up from Chch to Taupo, for the buckets?
My partner and I will be there from Auckland. There's one from Cambridge too.
This is our first time. Any tips on what to do and what not to do, would be greatly appreciated.
Ps our neighbours arn't too keen on us using our bikes to go to the dairy, they whinge about the bikes being too loud.
They wont like it when we really fire up the VTR Firestorm then, with it's Harris pipes. Ha!

yer.. that was me and luke .. i had the gt125.... it goes even faster NOW...
we were using luke's rg50... and even though i was riding it and he fell off 3 times... we came 16th. not bad for a kid that had only been hooning around in a car park and had one day racing at ruapuna....
but i HATE having to follow people but i have gotten used to it... in fact people judge just how bad they are going by their final result compaired to mine!
but you have to remember.. skunk is racing also... and that will putting a spanner in the works for all us "team rear-end racing "

nah im from wainui, dont no how to take pictures. could draw you a picture?
my understanding of the "its got a vt250 front end" means its got the forks and wheel and that type of shit from the vt250 welded onto the frame of a cb125t! not quite up with the terminology,.
glens coming round to look at it on monday and if he doesnt buy it ill make him take pictures and describe it better.
and the gt250 is not a gt250 its a gt200x
the a100 is sold.
