Hay guys what brands still make good sports tyres for bikes with 16 inch front wheels?

If you can't use a radial tyre, then you are in the same boat as me. About the best seems to be the Bridgestone (in a 110/120 16 inch anway).

hi there I had this when i had my 99 blade , I found that the tyre the bike liked the best was the bridgestone 020 and the 014 , mitch did a macdama that wasen't that flash and dunlop did one as well, I think it was a 207 but i never tryed it, as ive never liked any dunlops, There has never been many optipns for the 16 inch front but the ones avalible are plenty sticky enough for the road. Hondas seam to like the bridstones so id stick with them  :scooter:

Pirelli Sport Demon in 16 inch, got them on my bike. Fairly limited in choice for 16 inch from the info I can find. :zzzz:

I was using Bridgestones on my old blade, BT010 was awesome but they wore out on the sides quite quickly, BT014 was a pretty good tyre also.

continental do a forcemax in 16inch - my 250 hornet has a set on it now - very nice tyres IMHO. Before the conti's I had Diablos on it and they were awesome, so Pirelli definately do a 16incher..... :)

Pirelli sports demon on the front of the viffer seem to be holding out OK. I think Bridgestone do BT45's in 16" which are the stickier option for lighter bikes (e.g. CBR6's).

I bought my Blade with a 17 incher (ex NC30) already fitted. I Just bought another one to replace the 17 x 3 for my RC30.
They are hard to find in NZ, the wreckers I rang had a wait list for them.
I wound up buying one from the UK via these guys

Hub width and brakedisc spacing seems to be a standard measurement so far.

I concur about the Metzelers, the compound feels damn good.

I don't like the look of the rain clearing pattern, but have yet to test it in some seriously heavy rain. A shower would hardly test the water clearing abilities of a tyre

Probably too late but I had metzlers on the CBX. 33 or 55 I think they were, the 55 replaced the 33.
