Don't know about anyone else around here but, today we decided to go and get the trusty shopping done..............:gob: I don't think I have ever seen so many miserable looking, unhappy people, the upside down smiles and grumpy friggin attitudes blew me away........ shit people life is too short to not enjoy

May as well turn this into a Happy Christmas thread, as it is that time of year.

Happy Christmas Guys!!!

May you and yours have a safe and wonderful time over the holiday season, hopefully you will get a break from the daily grind, at least for a few days.....and a wish for all of us.........please may the weather be good so we can enjoy being out there on the roads...take care every one

yeh, no kiddin...so many shitty customers at work too. had 3 today i would happily have slapped upside the head. worst i remember was a woman on a scooter nearly bit my head off when i asked her to move the scoot up so the car behind could get in. stupid cow.
no way would i be able to walk into a shop and rip someone to shreds cos I was having a bad day.
another guy put in $30 petrol, and then couldnt pay. was really shitty when we took his details. far out...not like were gonna say "youve got $30 of our petrol in your can and cant pay for it. dont worry, we dont need your details or anything. your free to go with no reason to come back and pay" dunno how people can live with themselves not being able to pay for a product...pak n save wouldnt allow it...why should we? i always have $10 in my account for gas, or else cash/voucher in the topbox, just in case.

you know I have always thought that people that react in a stroppy way to anything usually have personal problems, the kind that requires them to (unintentionally in most cases) to snap at us, makes them feel better/worse too I am picking........anyhow thanks for pumping gas for those of us that have forgotten how to be polite.......:sunny:

Nice one. Did you know to open your red (wine) for at least half an hour before you sip and if you throw away the top and leave the rest till another day it tastes BETTER. So I've been told. "Come home Johnny" FYC.
Seriously, you need to know these things. AND the mouldy cheese tastes sooo much better if left out for an hour before you munch as well. Nice blue from Geraldine is presently being tested and Yummmm. Have a nice and not too merry one. CB

I am just a heathen. I help it along with a quick blast in the microwave. It can improve a mediocre red no end.

What is there NOT to smile about, when in the mauls doing the x-mas shopping???
1: Ride past the queue of traffic trying to get into the carpark.
2: Ignore baton-waving traffic director moron.:shit:
3: Ride through the pedestrian bollards and park right next to the doors (in a nice cunning spot I have discovered).
4: Go inside and happily shop with a big smile because I'm parked right outside and the cagers can all get fu*ked!

Bliss!:scooter:

*exits, shaking head over Indy attempting to get a suntan at the beach*

Why do people get so stressed out about Xmas shopping and leave it until the "last minute"? We have all had 12 months notice FFS !

I've done all my shopping in my head. I know exactly what I'm getting everyone and where I'm getting it from. All I have to do is get into the shops, grab them, pay for them and I'm gone! Even getting a new tyre for my bike!

Merry Christmas everyone, stay safe and well until we meet again, or for the first time. I wished someone 'merry christmas' today, they looked blankly at me for several seconds and finally responded "oh, yeah, you too"
Terribly sorry I didn't realise it was a secret!
Have a great time everybody.

Dunno about this Christmas shopping thing...gots me a wif to do that.
But today's helpful hint from me is -
Spread gladwrap all over the floor around the xmas tree. Then when Santa empties his sack it won't make a mess on the carpet.
Better living everyone!

Helpful Hint #4

To assist with your Xmas shopping in Wgtn:

Take one white van with tinted windows.
Slap on the magnetic "Telco Contractor" door signs.
Park with two wheels on the footpath outside the shop of your choice.
Put out the orange cones.
Wander off and do the deed.

I have used this system for 3 years now with no problems. :devil2:

Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and your family. Yes, they all look a bit glum out there.... I figured I would smile at everyone, but noone smiled back.

.... maybe I should take my helmet off next year.

I'll slap a few 'courier' stickers on me bike or borrow a few nearby roadworks cones and see what they do..... maybe use the 'danger do not approach' tape.

I guess you get that when he only comes once a year.

I know what you mean - everywhere I went the week before Christmas all I saw were grumpy faces! The staff in shops were okay, but all the shoppers looked really stressed. All I had to get that last week was our ham, salads, milk, cream and eggs. Everything else was in the cupboards or deep freeze and the wine rack was well stocked too!

Bit broke now, being a freelancer I don't get paid again until all my clients are back at work, which for some isn't until February... got a few hundred savings that will go quickly on regular bills, but we have heaps of food so it's not like we're going to starve.

And we DO have the winning Lotto ticket for this weekend!
