I was riding home from a bit of a blat on the takas last night and noticed my left bar end had fallen out along the way, damn it.

Has anyone got one around. I'm not sure if they are the same across different models??? Wellington Motorcycles can get one in but it is a little pricey for what it is.

Cheers

I thought about that but couldn't find anywhere online that sells them. Any ideas?

Thanks for that, looks promising although according to there find dealer page there are no dealers/stockists. I've just sent them an enquiry and will see if they get back to me. Shame it doesn't say anything about their weight... For that price I might just see how they go.

GO in to TSS or any of the stores down your way, most larger stores stock the Oxford range.

I got oxford ones for the Y. They don't look quite as smart as some other after market brands, but they stick better than OEMs and don't need constant tightening. Actually, I've never had to adjust them.

Yeah, now that I have looked at those ones a bit closer I don't think they will do the job. They seem to be designed for dirt bikes just to cover the end and are therefore made to be as light as possible when the road bike version need a bit of weight in them. I wouldn't have thought they would affect handling much but I hear it does. Might have to bite the bullet and splash out on the Suzuki part

I went into tss and scored some other aftermarket ones for $15:yes: . They are a bit lighter than the oem but I took it for a bit of a blat and couldn't feel any difference, maybe just a bit more bar vibration. Be fine for now :done:

I tightened them a bit when I got the bike and gave it a check over. Dunno what happened.

I ended up getting some black metal mesh with about 1 mm grid. Seems to keep the large bugs out and will let the air through. The pantyhose were looking a bit rough :shit:. Everything else is mint:2thumbsup.
