yeah there's been a few over the years, the official that got nailed in the head by a javelin at a sports event, people who've been knifed in the swede, one's who have impaled themselves on spikes & metal fence rails. that bloke in auckland earlier in the year who got knifed in the face.

Lol... my Uncle, when he was a lad, was away on some holiday camp with his 2 brothers and sister, and some friends. Anyway, they were playing darts out in the open. He (stupidly) went to get his darts out of the dartboard, and one of his mates nailed him in the back of the head. It didn't go through bone, but it was attached by the skin and sort of just hanging out of the back of his head. Everybody around him was like `FARK!' and many were laughing their heads off; meanwhile he's walking around going `What? Why's everybody laughing? What's so funny?'. He didn't work it out until somebody told him ^_^.

I imagine that would be quite painful. But then again, I've never had an arrow in my skull, but head injuries don't tend to hurt too much, in my experience. Also really heavy trauma like that, you get such a nice dose of seratonin that it keeps the really bad pain away until after it wears off -- I broke my kneecap and I was sweet, until after about an hour and a half (I broke it miles away from the hospital), then it felt like there were a million miniature Welsh miners chipping away at the bones in my knee. The aftermath after the operation was far more painful, even with my little push-button morphine machine (I want one for Christmas, lol).

:laugh: space to rent, nah seriously the tip must have gone between the two hemispere's of the brain ( sort of a 1/1000000 shot).
Couple of painful bone grafts from the hips would plug that easy:yes: ( had more bone taken from my hips than that to rebuild my elbow years ago). the doctors would have taken grafts set them then put a titanium plate over the top most likely.
