Hiya,
If you guys have nothing better to do on new years - 1st Jan - do you want to join me??
I'll be jumping out of a plane at 16,000 ft. (with a parachute - yeah sorry to dissappoint some) on the afternoon of Sunday the 1st from Mercer, Auckland.
It will cost $550 - a bit less if you don't want pictures or video.
Oh yeah, I have dibs on being the 1st jumper.
If interested PM me ASAP so I can book us in as a group.

It usually is a bit cheaper - but 16K ft is the highest in the country - hence the price.
Who did you jump with?
From all the places on the net I could find the price seems reasonable.
Matamata company...
$140 was for 6hours training...And the 1st Jump at 3k feet (Static line)
$40 using there Gear 2nd Jump 3k..(Static)
$30 using there Gear 3rd Jump 4k..(Static)
All in Same day...:)
I realize the one your looking at is Free fall...
But after 5 Static Jumps you can do free fall by your self at 7k..
Im still concern about my weight??
You could come and Cook me a Curry...Then maybe I would be light enough......

Im still concern about my weight??
I had the same problem, was looking at a tandem jump down in queenstown on holiday one year, but apparently the guy on the back (the instructor) needs to be taller than you, well I'm 6'5"ish and about 125kgs so was too big :( same goes for bungy jumping and that... but then I'm a scaredy cat anyways...

surely being able to bungee hump, parachute and ride a normal sprot bike would be enough encouragement for you to diet.. huh fatty??

You think so eh... dieting's not my thing though.
I'll be getting back in the gym a bit more, but ironically I don't lose any weight because I tend to build more muscle.

Can you give me the company details please.
Everyone here seems to have prices that are a lot cheaper than the $375 (tandem jump) and $175 (photos/vid) I have found.

I got the same deal as Crazy Steve... really good value, I wieght 135kg so hit the deck pretty hard but with a good amount of wind Im fine.
Tandems just another word for Baby Sitter... 4 or 5 static jumps... if you dont stuff anything up you'll be able to free fall for $50 a shot anytime you like:yes:
