Hello Kiwi Bikers just posting for the first time coz I got told to at Wanganui, (I'm scared of the wrath of Goblins, god knows what the hell they're capable of) . I guess I should let you know what spins my wheels.First up I'm primarily a road rider, got started on a bucket of shit KL250 that threw me into a ditch full of blackburry then a barbed wire fence and a large pile of cow shit, I was hooked on bikes straight away.from there I went on to road bikes the first one was a rooted GS 550 , riding the GS introduced me to some nutters that raced speedway sidecars, a new form of adrenilan was found ( also a good way to meet nurses ). While still racing sidecars I kept updating my road bikes, when I got sick of those cars with the party lights chasing me I decided to have a crack at that racing game went to a meet at Manfield the Golden Handlebars in 1993 was hooked on yet another form of speed. Went racing on my newly purchased GSXR1100 (poor bike) had a few ups and several downs OOPS . Afew years later caught a luckey break and got noticed by a Napier bike builder who's obsesion was to build fast bikes and put fast riders on them , so it was time to get serious stop goofing off ( less skids , wheeles and crashes ). Had a fun few years with some good results but my luck ran out at Gisborne street circut with a simple crash that left me with a lack of feling in my right arm for a couple of years (matched my right leg from a drunk driver ) this made racing bloody dificult as I couldn't feel the brake lever. After a bit of a break I got a RS 125 bloody fast little bastards , raced that till I kinda broke it in half trying to pass a SS900 that was pissing me off , yet another injury to slow me down , only problem was I didn't find out bout my broken leg till it had healed (badly). So yet another lay off from racing. Recently after talking with Craig from Twin City a plan was hatched , Motard was the plan , much cheaper than my F3 plan so far this has been the most fun I've had racing , even if I can't keep the bloody front wheel on the ground at Wanganui ( I gave up on this and just let it wheelie round the whole dam track) it's had a couple of biffs now but still looks good and goes prety dam quick . Now I'm hoping to do a bit more riding, racing, mountain biking, and maybee meet a few more kiwi bikers. Cheers for now denniso. ps sorry But my fingers ran overtime , I'll try to keep my crap shorter next time.:done:
