Anyone live in Wanganui who can see the ocean?

I am keen to know someone who lives in Wanganui and can see or aint far from the coast. Why you ask well its simple realy
I love fishing but living in Ashhurst we are a little landlocked I frequently take my boat for an hour drive to the coast only to turn around and come home again cause the bar is too rough or the wind is blowin :weep: I ring coastgaurd for info but dont normaly get the info i need
It would be awesome to get the heads up when the sea is flat it would save me a whole lot of gas and hours behind the wheel. If your a keen fiserman or woman and dont have a boat i can always make room on the ol tub for another rod
There are quite a few of us in this area that have the same problem a web camera put in the right place maybe the go

Ashhurst is fine its not a bad place to bring up your kids they cant do much wrong without someone narkin on them which is good for us but not them
Which pub i dont realy drink at either of them, the one down the road from me by the mobil station has just sold
I cant believe it he has painted out the tui sign and putting up speights in thier place, :shutup: thatl slow down the patronage

Lived in Ashhurst for about ten years and I don't hink I went to either pub more than once or twice , it was always the Waterford for a Guiness
