Wednesday night ride

A group of us Wairarapa Riders were talking today, and decided to start our own Wednesday Night Ride for anyone who wants to go for a little blat and a stop at a pub. Anyone interested post any ideas where we could go etc. Will be a cruisy ride.. as I'm a bit of a slow poke.. just a warning. :) Also Weather Permitting... I'm a softy...

Meeting place: Gull in Masterton
Time: 6.30pm on a Wednesday Night

Will work out where to go when we met at Gull. But will prob stop at Gladstone Pub for a drink.

Will txt everyone as well if the ride is on - so if I dont have your cell phone number please pm it too me.

I haven't had a weekend at home (Palmerston) for well over 2 months now. My parents think I am living a secret life somewhere else. It's all good though have done 10,000km on my bike since I got it in march :D. Goodness I am rambling, and I said goodness.

OK, So Lissa and I decided that "sod it it's cleared up, lets ride". So we Did. Was only a shortish ride but the weather cleared up nicely for us. Some nice man at The Gladdy gave us free food (last time I checked I didn't look skinny)

The end result:

Today I discovered that the oil drain plug has been helicoiled and will no longer seal properly. :brick: Now to take off the sump cover and get it sorted.

I guess if we leave the duckpond around 630, it would take us 15-20min to get there(?) - I have never actually timed it - maybe someone else has and will enlighten us.
And I vote for the Tin Hut after the Hill, we have been there a few times and the food and prices were good.

Good ride tonight, really enjoyed it!! Weather is a cracker in the rapa! Hmm was alittle nervous on the hill, but turned out ok, except for that big truck I tried to run over on the way up. Was nice ride, and nice friendly local people.... who (GASP) loved my GN.... hehe they even stood outside to look at it, think my bike has a fanclub... and they even came out to watch me (and brent ;)) ride off... we have to go back there again... maybe out next Wednesday Night Ride! Prices good too.. only $1.40 for a diet coke.. compared with $2.50 at the Gladdy.

Ok Brent (the ringleader) me and elle have decided to have a photoshoot
one of these days.... cause we want to have photos of us riding our bikes... we dont think that that is anyway vain of us. We will be setting up a bracket to keep our bikes on a lean so we look like we are going around a corner, when in actual fact we are not moving... I hopefully will get my pegs down. Maybe Mr Kendog could take some piccys of us going up and down the hill, we will of course pick out the best ones. Also thought maybe doing a bikini shoot wouldnt be ideal.. so dont even ask! Yeah, I'm sad I missed the ride last night.

Took it into Langlands this morning and turns out I overheated and warped my front brake discs at trackday. Hopefully they will get the bits quickly and get me back on the road for next wednesday, preferably well before actually.

I was really hoping to get up there and play tonight but no... And my friend _intense_ is back up and running since being off for about 4-5 months and I can't go play!!!
