Dude, I live in Titahi Bay and have a double garger. I'm no expert but confident with the basics. I'm away at the moment and not back until the 8th of Jan. If you want to hook up sometime I'm more than happy to do some garage time. PM me if interested.

I got bored so completely stripped it down, speedo cable was ceased already and its never had that little bit on the back. I get the motivation every now and then to clean up a few bits and bolt em back on.

Not quite,
tried to ring Paul today but rang the wrong work place. Will try and collect it this weekend. Just ordered some new tyres form Oz because apparently all the race tyres in NZ have been bought up for the nationals. You don't have any in stock do you? It might not be too late to cancel my order. After some treaded racish tyres. Cant afford wets yet and need some discs for my spare rims. This racing shit is gonna be expensive until I get snapped up by Team Motomart. Hell, I'll even paint my bike red if that's what it takes.

I'll have to check the regulations. There might be a limit on the number of team alcoholics. I'm pretty sure that the riders are allowed to be alcoholics but mechanics are expected to be more responsible.

Hell Clive ..... if you paint the bike RED it will go as slow as the Motomart bikes do already lol (hopes Martin dont read this aye :scooter: )
If any of you guys need a few pointers i will gladely show you what you need to know.
As for your bike Clive we could teach the locals about race prepping by using your bike as a project and ill show you all how things should be done. I can say that as i recon my bike is as well prepped as the next average machine.
Im on the lookout for a young or old person to race my bike next year for me so anyone attending may get a foot in the door if ya know what i mean !!!
Im going to retire after this season but the sponsor (Canbrace) is keen to support me with another rider and have me mentor / manage them. The offer is on the table. Your turn guys .

Race prep idea sounds like a goody oldfart. You still doing this winter series? Ive scored some Pirelli Supercorsas too. Will try and get them on before Feb track day.

Yes i am doing the Winter Series Clive but thats all for me i think... unless i accept a challenge elsewhere lol.
The offer is there for you from the last post just get in touch with me.
A workshop night / day for a few guys would benifit all involved and its what i want to put back to a sport thats been helping to give me fun for the last 25 years or so. My first race was at the Gracefield L/Hutt circuit in the COUNTRYWIDE BRUT 33 Series, :gob: Far out im old. The upshot is i get to enter the Grant Russel Memorial results this year and i raced against him quite a lot but he always had much better bikes than i did.

Mafu1 was delivered his bike by the vendor at about 11:30 this morning and Nasty went down to the Welly railway station to meet him with the intention of riding it out to Mafu's place in Paraparaumu (per the other thread, he just wasn't comfy doing the ride this early in the piece - he's catching the train)
Well as soon as the vendor disppeared, the bike started stalling and not restarting. Long story short, as I write this, they're both sitting at the railway station with dead electrics on the bike waiting for the AA or WMCC, whichever comes first :(

That would be my guess, I never fill a car or bike up before selling it? If someone wants to collect it I have a trailer......just no car or license!
