Running won't help - I now know my way to Orkland (and back) nowhere to run to, nowhere to hide. We should all go to Hawkes Bay - fantastic weather up there.

Still fekking freezing and it was spitting as I arrived at work, not to mention me spitting at the milk truck driver who tried to kill me in Featherston St. I guess squealing tyres with smoke and everything wasn't enough of a hint for him.

Is this going to be a public lynching? Or are we just going to see it poor quality low res on You Tube???

Either way, can you make sure that Skelstar still shows some sign of self respect in his demise, cause even though he couldn't keep a promise. He's still a good guy, who had his Nana rep, revoked!

Chin up Skels. Weather predictions just weren't your thing!

Partly cloudy in Chch. Bit of blue sky, bit of misty cloud, bit of lumpy cloud. Could go either way. Just stuck my 1/2 naked body out the door to guage the temperature and it appears to be 3mm cold on the 'nipple guage'. (Inappropriate to use the more accurate 'penis guage' as my daughter is up).

Sunny on the Kapiti Coast and getting warmer by the hour. Dont worry Wgtners, tomorrow will be nice.

. We should all go to Hawkes Bay - fantastic weather up there.

The same unseasonal Southerly that is tormenting Wgtn tracks up the East coast and is giving the Bay the same stuff - not as nice as when you and I went thru after Xmas, Col.

Wotchoo talking about, Jim?
We had lovely weather every day except the 26th, when it was dribbling a bit in Novato and snowing in Oakhurst. Since then, nothing but sun!
I must say though, LA was better than here, despite being a couple of degrees cooler at times, and Santa Monica had wonderful weather.

scumdog
5th January 2007, 16:04
Well, it's true, going for a ride is true therapy.
Had a few minor chores to do this morning, gad a wrestling match with the T-Sports oil filter (I won) and while waiting for the old oil to drain I had 5 hares (shot last night) to cut up, bone and make ready for the freezer and seeing as it's a 24 degree day down here in the Riviera of the South it was not the nicest job with the windows shut to keep the blow-flies at bay.
But finished the hares, screwed on another filter, filled up with oil then had a shower.
Climbed into the leathers (no skull mask today) and soared off on the T-Sport, half an hour cruising around and then home for a beer - and had a grin a mile wide and all my worries had blown away with the wind - yee - haaaa!
Now sitting here frittering my life away on KB and having said beer - and lovin' it.
Still 24 degrees and sunny with a mild breeze.

Skelstar holds no fear from me!! Long live Skelstar!

Look out Glenorchy next weekend!!:headbang: :woohoo:

Well the Wairarapa was bril yesterday. in fact, bordering on too hot to be in leathers. Did the early morning round the lake-Martinborough-Gladstone water tower-Masterton-Pongaroa-Akitio beach (beautiful spot) for a dip in the not so warm ocean, then Herbertsville-Dannevirke and back home via Eketahuna. 730kms exactly door to door.
Who's complaining about the weather?
Why is it every time you pull out of a gas station after cleaning the bugs off your visor, within minutes, a big gooey shitter kamikaze dives smack into your visor on your line of sight! That's the trouble with long rides, it takes ages to clean up leathers, helmets, boots & bike.
