Hiyas, a work-mate is keen on getting a bike and needs his BHS cert. Does anyone have recommendations for courses, classes, cheapest, best, worst, "dont go there", whatever? On-line resources for newbies?
Thanks.

2nd that. Did my skills test through him. Best thing is he does his tests on weekends.....no need to take time off work :)

I'll 3rd it.
Not astronomically priced, low class numbers, bloody knowledgeable, firm but fair, and left me feeling like I had learned something I'd use on the roads, instead of just giving me a certificate to kill myself.

Also worth checking out Lee Rusty. I am not sure of his number. He is on KB too. A really neat guy with a real sense of humour.

When i did mine .......a guy called Doug Swanson lead me through an hour long 1 on 1 session at A.U.T Northcote.....i found that better for me rather than have someone take several at a time.....thats the way i wanted it. If you want his number....pm me and i will pm you back....:done:

Thanks everyone. Mate went to Rider Skills on the weekend and took the BHS training&test and was very happy with the quality of the instruction and is considering taking the Confidence building course there once he's riding. He got his learner's the same day and now all he needs is a bike!
Anyone know of a Hyosung GT250R for sale?
