A week ago, on my travels i went to family reunion at hamilton. i then had planned to go from hamilton to taupo as thats were everyone was meeting up.
Upon leaving cambridge, i noticed the back wheel kicking out.......fuck i bet its the chain....nope
it took me a while to figure out - but for some reason the rear disc, which was not warped would intermittantly hit the pads....
I had blown the crap out of the bearing!!!
so i sat on the side of the road and pondered my next move, when a nice old chap said i could store the bike at his place. I asked him if there were any bike shops around, he said that there was a short walk from where i was.
I saw a honda shop, with mainly off road stuff, but as i reached the door i saw the Light.
Further down the road i saw the Yamaha place, and just as if a dream to confirm my suspicion.....a black 2001 fazer also turned up.
I walked inside still doubtful and asked if they had a rear wheel bearing......the guys there looked high and low, when 1 guys said "Nothing here, but the one in my race bike at home will fit"...
long story short those guys got me back on the road in 3 hours, worked over time....and were the nicest people around.
So if you ever in the area - YOU MUST BUY SOMETHING OFF THEM!
