I just went for a ride and my engine died suddenly. I checked the ignition fuse and it was blown. I replaced it and it immediately blew again when I turned the ignition on. I'm going to start following the wiring and find the source of the fault but if anyone knows what the most likely area is that would be a good start. Cheers

Start looking around the steering head area - use of full lock (normally to the right) can, on some bikes, stretch the loom to the point of doing damage.

I've got it sorted now but I don't really know what the problem was. One of the ignition signal wires (the ones that tell the coil when to fire) had more insulation removed then necessary and I insulated it with heatshrink and it was fine after that. But I can't figure out how that would have posed a problem other than makeing the engine run on 3 cylinders. Hopefully that was the prob and I didn't just fluke it!
