Hi everyone... after a long and hot day on the streets of Wanganui and a few hours of sorting out, the pics are online at
http://www.hamish.net.nz
I've sorted everything by racer number so it should be easy to find your own pics or photos of a mate. I apologise in advance if your bike or team aren't in there... second time trackside and first time covering a street circuit. I'm always interested in doing things better so if there's bits I've missed... pits... brolly chicks... crowds... let me know.

In image 5652, the 2nd photo of Stroud cranked right over with knee on the deck is his front wheel off the ground??

Those are excellent photos.
What camera and lens were you using for the bikes?

Sure looks like it. There's a photo of Shirriffs wheel in the air too. Look in folder 'S'

The front wheels might be from pixellation for screen resolution rather than what's really there - I didn't notice it when editing but I might be mistaken. Have to check later. There's one in folder S as well apparently.
Gear on the day was Canon EOS 30D and 70-200 f4L. BTW while we're talking about gear... I've been to a few events and I have never seen so much L-series glass in my life!! Who are all these pros? Where do they come from? Where do they go to and who are they selling their photos to??
With the women's volleyballers - they do a lot of dives and get a bit abraded. Playing another three tournaments in the same week, so it'd add up after a while if they weren't careful.

5652: Yep, on checking, Stroud has daylight under his front tyre.
S is nicely planted though.

Mate that is one cool pic, I would want that as a racer might pay to find a email for him and send it through to him and see if he wants to buy a full res!
