Awesome to see it running........
Hey one thing thou....... how do your arms cope as they seem to be held rigid whilst riding??
Do you think it needs the handlebars slightly altered to give your arms that slight bend in them?
Or are you comfortable to ride like that?
But it is great to see it out there being ridden.
What speed did you get it up to?
How did it handle with the huge wheel on the back?
So what is gonna be your next invention?
One like that but the two huge wheels on the back (Trike)

And the point is what? Handling would be crap, tyres would be extremely hard to find and the list of downers goes on and on. Also, how practical is it in NZ, let alone anywhere else?
I admire your talent and persistance to build it, but I just don't see why, especially in NZ.
Oh, and nice safety gear...

And the point is what?
The point is it's great! It's art in a bike, a toy, a cool motorcycle sculpture which actually goes.
If you have to ask WHY then you get put into a certain category of person.

If you have to ask WHY then you get put into a certain category of person.A category of person that likes a bike to serve a purpose. A purpose that isn't looks (which that has none of anyway) and a purpose that includes practibility.
Every bike should be built for a purpose. A GN has a purpose, albeit a basic one; A GSXR has a purpose; Heck, even a Harley has a purpose. That doesn't. End of story.
If you like it, then go for it. I don't, I'm just asking wtf would anyone do that.

Its fine the bars, never looked at the speedo. had it into 4th, goes quite well as the video shows, it handles strange (obviously) it's like driving a sidecar outfit, Im happy with it though as well you know its only a toy, next might be the reverse trike, looking for a big japo write off and a sprint car front axel, cheers,,,,

I think he did it because he can,and the purpose of it was to have fun.Something you,ll figure out when you get older.

Well done.
I can't believe that fattie rear wheel was spinning with such a peashooter engine!
Not another Harley chopper gets 10/10 to begin with.
Why you stay in Albany is another question, come on, Henderson will welcome you with open arms and nurturing teats.

I think this looks awesome, a real dragbike look....just imagine a turbocharged CBX1000 motor shoehorned in there :gob:
It's sad that a youngster like hxc has to have such a narrow mind with art and motorcyling.
Not all bikes have to serve a purpose. More often it's making the project that's the fun part.
I made an aluminium coffee table with a carbon-fibre top and blue lights underneath. Practical? barely, necessary? probably not, have a purpose, no...fun YES and I loved designing and building it.
So I know where you're coming from. 10/10 from me Geordie !!

Fu*k me she handles like a dream, I bet that's a lot more fun than riding a sport bike! I guess there's no point asking why you built this behemoth? Well done anyway. Here's my youtube motorcycle contributions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTWQzgrPFuc
