Apparantly my spark plugs are knackered, even though they are only a few months old. I don't have a spare $180 to chuck at the bike for 4 plugs right now and was supposed to be at Taupo for the track day tomorrow. Does anyone happen to have a spare set of stupidly small VFR plugs laying around that they might want to sell me?

Have you tried Autmotive Supplies in Auckland?

Have you asked Repco?

Thats where I got mine and for no way near $180, only places like cyclespot charge 50 a plug and make you wait 6 weeks ex japan

I'm also looking for a cheap alternative if anybody has any second hand but still functional NGK ER9EH plugs they don't mind parting with.
I'm only after two at this point.

Automotive Supplies would normally sell them for $47 each but offered me the much lowered price of $28 each inc gst

Repco sell them for $49 as you might expect

Worth getting a service kit (http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/VFR400-NC30-(JAPANESE)/part_22860/)

they are stupid expensive. I bought a set on ebay,

I think its because they are so small (like M8 (i.e. 8mm OD) thread

That service kit is pretty tempting, though I should really see if the thing is gonna run before putting too much into it. (Not to mention I don't have 60 pounds spare)
