Got my bike back from the bike hospital a couple of hours ago. :) Just like brand new again with some decent rubber on her now. The BT020's are gone.
Wouldn't you believe the weathers packed up for the next four days but I managed to get 80k's in before heading home to beat the rain. Man it felt good to be back on the bike after five weeks without it.
The ankles a little stiff on the gear changes but other than that, I loved it :)
Had my leather suit restitched in a few places, bought a new pair of Sidi Vertigo Corsa race boots for better protection (though I hope I won't need them) so I'm all set to go. Just waiting for a break in the weather before I had back to work next week, after my final assessment with the bone specialist on 16th January.
I'm hoping to get a bit of riding in before Wednesday when I reckon I'll be packed off to work again by the specialist. :(

Glad to hear your bike is mended and that you're not too far behind it - per some of your earlier posts (i.e. slowing it down) if you need to ride with someone a bit off your old pace gimme a shout - I'm in your neck of the woods.

Thanks all. Neat bunch and yeah, I'll work in a ride with you all as soon as.
I think there is a small window till about 1.00pm today and then the weather looks real bad till Wednesday when I am assuming the specialist will have me back at work :(
Tyres: Colemans are agents for Pirelli, so at the suggestion of a few on this site, I am running a Diablo Strada rear and Diablo Corsa front. Feels good so far but will be interested to see how they perform against the Michelin Pilot Roads or Metzler Z6's. They should be tons better than the BT020's though :)
I'll keep you posted on how they perofrm longer term. Man, I am so pleased to have my bike back. Long term goal: keep it new. :) :scooter:

I swear by my 020s, with 010s on the front. I've sampled most other tyres out there yet keep going back to the trusty Battleaxes.
Good luck with your new rubber.
