i got a nsr250 mc21 & recently notice that the temp gauge not workking has anyone got any ideas on where i could check to try fix the problem

check the wiring at the temp sensor first (you've done that already of course)

next pull out the sensor and put it in hottish water (50 c) measure the resistance , then put it in hot water (approx 100 c) and again measure the resistance . You'll need to get the exact figures off the net but these should do

190-260 @ 50c
23-30 @ 100c

this will isolate the temp sensor from the overall issue.

If the sensor wire is grounded (ie pull the plug off the small sender on the rad & connect to unpainted metal) then the gauge should move high temp. If not then trace the wire from the gauge & check power to the gauge.
