Hello all,

Just a quick wonder as to who can do bike painting, from one colour all over to custom paint jobs, person/company has to be in Auckland though, I am seriously looking into getting my bike painted (Checkout profile pic) and would like to keep it local.

If you do know of anyone or any company please put their details in this thread AND some pics of their work or a link to their website.

Cheers

John

Disturbed air or someone on the site does some very decent airbrushing.

"Reflections", on the northshore do great work...but they aint particularly cheap, but they do great work!

Their number is in the book and they are easy to find.

It'll be cheaper if you strip the parts down yourself and deliver them 'ready to go'.

Tip up to them and Dave will happily give you a quote on the spot..

A good mate of mine works for a company called Peter Hendricks Panel and Paint. The Owners son (a painter there, Pete Jr) painted the rear of my 7R and does an awesome job, both masking out the areas and the painting. Recommeded to all (make sure you ask him to paint the parts as they have more then one painter).

Not the cheapest, but does a quality job which is well worth it :rockon:

What about the great Kiwi tradition of DIY?
My mate did my bike and his son's with a locally bought airbrush and the results are great. Mine was his first go, his boy's chookie was his second attempt.
You can always sand it off and take it somewhere if it turns out naff.
Pics of my bike;

Great cost too.
