Ick. Nasty weather today. Hope it was only the motorbike hurt and not the rider...

Sounds a bit of a worry, having a car and truck makes it 10 times worse, keep us informed :niceone:

Tell me about it. My bike has suddenly developed Italian Syndrome and is refusing to run properly in the wet.

It wasnt the only accident this morning. Someone got hit by a bus on Lambton Quay, not a rider, just a jaywalker.

Check your sparkplug caps.

Shall do. It was no fun stalling outside the Embassy and then having to push it around behing Welington M/C so I could crash start it (since the starter motor was as useless as tits on a bull...)

Nothing classy about having to push your bike Quasi, but nice comeback.

My Duke also used to run like a pig in the wet. Luckily the bike shop didn't even bother to start it up (rainy day) when I traded in on a real classy number...

Mine's a 93 and has sat through 3 days of solid rain in the past and it started straight away.

So did anyone hear anything else about this?

Well it beats me how I can thoroughly wash the bike, hose the crap out of it, use surfactants etc., and it starts and runs OK, then it complains about a bit of rain.

Seems to be OK since the new plug cap was fitted though.

It'd be great if it doubled in price with exactly the same performance, too.

I didn't hear anything other than your post CSL.

I've never had a problem with my Ducs in the wet. (reaches for tree)
