Wanted Yamaha Cy50 Jog carb off a 1990
My brothers carb has gone kuput you cant alter the mixture in it at all and is running WAY to lean at the momment you cant give it a handful or it bogs but on the air inlet there are 3 little holes if you blank off with your finger the hole on the left it runs fine and revs out me and a mate went through it tday its not electrical its that carb issue

Why not just remove it and fully strip and clean it?:scooter:

most scooter carbs are not adjustable, other than idle mixtures and speeds...
where exactly are the holes? are they before the carby on the intake side... e.g. between the air filter and carby?
if thats where they are this is your problem, not the carb. just plug the holes up and you will be fine... the holes are letting too much air in which in turn is leaning out the mixture

Yip fixed,
Now heres some advice, On the fuel over flow on the carb. Make sure you have aoverflow tube because if you dont when going full throttle the slide opens it up of course and it actually sucks air in which leaned it out,
We put a overflow tube on and it now revs perfect my brother is happy again.
