Aye.....Katana Styling....six cyl motor that's only 25mm wider than the GSXR 1000 engine at the widest point of the crankcases....sexy.

The raw figures are 1100cc, 24 valves, 180 horses and a motor reportedly turbine-like smooth. The motor is an engineering masterpiece akin to the miniaturized sophistication of a Swiss watch and the aluminium fairing, electrically-adjustable windscreen, LED headlights, adjustable handlebars, built-in GPS navigation just add to the high-tech cred.

Excellent - something else I don't need, can't afford and thankfully don't like the look of

Yeah I'm not sold on the look just yet....but having ridden quite a few Z1300's...I love six's!

Looks a bit weird... but then I've only seen 1 small pic. Do like the old school looking discs and the headers though.... 6 is definitely a good number :first:

Yeah very Katana... '80's Katana.
Like the inline 6 idea - not keen on the styling but hey everyone has their own tastes

Well, sure looks different! Almost a bit off road-ish. Nice to have something a bit different from the ordinary tho'

It's fugly, they should put it in the new Busa.

Very interesting! It's sad they couldn't think of anything better to do with the exhausts than six blindingly chromed pipes. The rest of it looks good and the inline six is fab, but those pipes are just nasty.

I love the look of it

I actually like it too. It has a 'dont F around with me' look to it and I am convinced now that the 21st century has finally arrived. Black or blue exhausts would make it look better though. So...crasher. Whats the price and when are you getting one for the front window?

Yeah - brings back memories alright.
Not sure about the orange - would have been better if it had a red seat.

It's purely a 'concept' bike at this stage mate....but I'll ask SNZ if there's any chance of it doing the 'rounds' when the show's finished.

I severely doubt it though....too much chance of damage during transit etc...

I'm lead to believe it's actually a runner though.....can't remember what site it was.....but there was a clip floating round a while ago that had the sound of the thing being wound up....being a six it sounded fucking fantastic!

Please ask them if they have any posters at the same time.

The Katana has only 3100 miles on her yet and just about paid off !
So looking forward to getting on a decent tour around April. Hope everythings Ok with you and able to ride again?

Great, but ditch the auto gearbox. NOT COOL!
