View Full Version : Manawatu: Which night for an Ashhurst midweek ride?

It was mentioned earlier that we should start a midweek ride much like other parts of the country.

I am happy to organize everything but first we need a night so feeling a poll is in order.

What night would be the best for you to show up? Tuesday is out for me and I do have a little life so Friday is no good either. That leaves Mon, wed and thurs.

Choose more than one night if it suits and we will see which night gets the most votes.

Just found this during a midnight break from getting the 2 Smoker ready for tomorrows trackday and watching Bubba smoke Carmicheal in round 1 of the AMA SX tonight.
How long would a ride be, what time roughly would it leave? I work in Wanganui as a signwriter so would probably need to haul ass home to get out in time. Wednesday nights are Car club meets at Hell and Cafe Cuba, Mondays are Go Kart nights, but thats only monthly and the bike will come first.
Perhaps someone can look me up tomorrow at the track as I don't know anyone here yet. I'l be on the KR1 and in the pits with the bike and a V Bottle Green Honda Accord.

details still to be worked out but could be setting off about 6 and spend an hour or so on the bikes. have coffee and chat somewhere and then head for home.i wont be at the track today as I have other things going on but be sure to look us up on the next ashhurst ride.

I take it theres no mid week ride this week. Maybe there will be one next week or the week after.

Really don't know whats the most suitable night for me as I can be asked to work at a moments notice.
