yeah, maybe bumping it forward till 1:30pm might be an idea, there doesn't seem to be much interest at the moment... not sure what the weather will do at the right now, and 2 people doesn't exactly make a group ride...

Weather is looking fine over this way. Bit cloudy but fairly warm so it's not gonna rain (the cicadas are singing)

Gearing up to leave now if weather looks too crap out west I know a few good roads heading east.

I'm the crazy guy in the white SUV towing kayaks that said hi as I drove past.
Nice day in Rags, would have been a great ride. Caught a nice big snapper for dinner tonight.

Thanks for the ride guys. Turned out to be a wicked day. Will post the few pics I took later on after I hear back from the guy on the Scorpio if he wants THOSE pictures posted or not.

If you look at the corner going from south to north (Waingaro Rd), that corner has a false entry point, where the 45k (ish) yellow warning sign shows, then tiny corner, then Rotowaro Rd is on the left (bridge), and then the 45k corner happens... I was right behind him when it happened. He tipped in for the first mini corner, and then he straightened up after that, and had an extremely difficult line to try corner through. It was a good thing for that #8 wire fence cause the bike could've ended up in the stream about 3 or 4 metres lower than the road.

Jonno and I went through to the petrol station at Ngaruawahia. Inverted is fine, although his bike needs a little bit of work
