Ok so here's what I have come up with off the top of my head and a trawl of the net. Feel free to add more that I have blatantly forgotten - probably the cruisers :S

Can someone also do a post for new road legal dirt-bike 250s?

I'm gonna try and create pages for as many of the new bikes as I have time for. Perhaps when they are all posted, this needs to be stuck in the FAQ/Info area as well, as a stand alone page rather than a thread?
I'll try and post links to any rider reviews, preferably by KBers but if anyone can recommend a comprehensive site with a collection of reviews, that may also be useful

Easy way to create a page, just go to the VTR one, right-click and save the page, then open it in word and edit it for another model. Crude maybe, but it works for me... The you can save it again as an HTML file

Caution over the new GN250's. Apparently they come out of China, and the workmanship isn't that flash. Heard someone talking about one, and she had multiple issues with it within the first six months.

Only problem I had with the GN250 I brought was that the main/reserve switch on it was rooted facotry new (whomever built it had forced the retaining screw in when the switch was in the wrong position, so it was into the wall of it, not the groove.) Put the shits up me the first time I went to switch to reserve and couldnt! Pulled over and took the switch apart on the side of the road and got it sorted thou. Would have been a sodding long walk otherwise.

Looking at the respective manufacturer sites, it appears as though there has been some significant rationalisations of the 250 range. This could be a reason why the 2nd hand 250 market is so strong at the moment? There are numerous trial/MX bikes for sale, so I have ommitted them.
