One word says it all "Brilliant".
But I shall elaborate.
I have not "abrasion tested" this jacket however:
Good thick armour and thick high quality fabrics.
High quality Zips and fastenings.
Versatile and plentiful pockets.
Being "retired" to spare jacket duty because I have bought the replacement model (Nazran is now Neo, the model is now Commander).
The reasons I bought the replacement model without hesitation:
* The first zip that broke was after 5 years of near daily abuse, even then after replacing the tag with a keyring the zip works fine.
* The only actual failure of this product was that the velcro on the sleeves stopped working after about a year.
* Last year I rode through a torrential downpour for 5 hours (heavies rain I have ever ridden in without my jacket leaking until in the fifth hour I failed to do the storm cuffs and front properly after a rest stop.
* Excellent wind resistance.
* Gets very hot very quick when stationary but breathes well when moving.
* Most of winter I never used the winter liner because it was too warm.
* After 5 years there are some minor tears in the edges of the pockets but nothing major and certainly nothing that could not be fixed.
* Very adjustable features have meant that this is a jacket that has continued to fit as my weight and or layers of clothes have changed.
* Very comfortable.
Conclusion:
Fantasitic build quality and confidence inspiring materials, still an adequate jacket after years of abuse in all weathers from year round daily rider.
I love replacing safety gear that has been worn out rather than crashed out and the fact that this works out at 21c per day and is still usable in my mind makes this a stand out product.
Well done Nazran / Neo.
Heres hoping the replacement model has as much success!
