I had intended going down to the A1GP this weekend in Taupo and booked a room at a great guest house in August last year on the day the event was announced. I am now not able to go and rather than simply canceling my booking I am happy to hand it over to a fellow KB member who would like to get down over the weekend.
The booking is for a Queen bedroom, garden suite for the nights of Jan 19th and 20th. The tariff is $150 per night for the room and this includes a cooked breakfast. The guest house is about a five minute drive to the track. I know for a fact that there is currently no accommodation available at all anywhere near Taupo.
If anyone wants this booking please PM me and I will let you have all the contact details. I have not paid any deposit but they have my credit card number and will ping me if I don’t show. I have confirmed today that if the room is re-let I don’t get pinged with any cancelation costs. You can deal directly with the guest house.
