About 80 to 90 bhp at the crank for a non turbo standard motor

Do you think it would make a nice chopper?

Yeah, I owned a 78 Z1-R for about 15 years, nice power, shame about the handling, then I sold it after I discovered Guzzi's, motor would make one quick & fast chop, even standard they go good for their age

ha ha ha,..haven't considered the Guzzi purchase a foolish move, but there's still time !!!
Degrom,...forget the Z1-900,...go for a Z1300, the big 6. Now THAT would make a good engine for a project !!

Looks like it could be in Canada-and they do things 'different' over there.
Off Topic but why oh why do so many people in motor-cycle related pictures have to 'flip the bird' when they are getting their photo take? (like this young 'lady')
Are they insecure in some way, do they think it makes them look tough or do they feel it is mandatory to do so?
It is so, so cliched and meaningless yet tasteless.

Yep its a Z . Bloody strong motors , I had mine putting out around 140 hp with no hair drier just a few "minor" mods , handling was shit, three wheels , no brakes , but got to meet lots of doctors & nurces. I think the slapper is flipping the bird coz she just woke up to find that some bastard has drawn all over her with felt pen when she was pased out drunk.

Yes, but where is the turbo ??
turbo is behind the engine. less turbo lag but gets hellava hot under there.
See the jackshaft rear drive so they can run a fatass rear tyre.
And for you honda freaks the gold thing behind the kawasaki looks like a turboed 450.
A couple of clues suggest Hawaii
