We are at pressent looking at organising some regular rides (no matter what size bike, and or skill level) that anyone can join in on.

There is a bit of interest, but we have only just stared to organise things so will take a bit to get a day good for most... ;)

Yeh true, then theres weather to worry about... i hate riding in the wet

yeh i'm pretty new to riding so i not quite used to the slipperyness yet.

i think i seen u riding today, u on a black firestorm?

no not a black on mine is blue :)

The trick to riding in the wet is to ride to the conditions, and yes slow down if uncomfortable. All I can say is you will have to eventually do it, and well practise practise practise.

You have to have faith in them tyres and let them do what they are designed to do, also when riding in the wet you can see the spots you try to avoid when cornering.

In group rides, ride your own ride, don't be forced to keep up, the group will/should regroup and there should be a TEC or Tail End Charlie keeping eye on the slower riders.

Most importantly, relax, being tense can cause you to fight what the bike is wanting to do naturally to get round the corner, which can be well... bad

yep I'm keen, i'm not a speed limit breaker cause I can't afford the tickets, so don't worry if you're just learning, i'll ride with ya
