The connection has timed out

The server at www.kiwibiker.co.nz is taking too long to respond.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

SpankMe,

This has been happening alot this afternoon and this evening.....

I even shut the comp down and restarted it up to see if that would sort it out.

No other websites that I am browsing is having this problem.

Im just bringing it to your attention...... so that it can be sorted out.

Cheers.

PS: I am on Dial up but that should not be a issue to this problem.

Server has been running fine all day. More likly to be one of the gateway servers between you and the KB server.

As an example, here is how many servers I have to go through to get to the KB server from my XTRA connection.

[root]$ traceroute kiwibiker.co.nz

cheers SpankMe...... no idea what all that means

But it has taken me, 5 goes, to get back into this thread again since you posted up on it.... I even had to open up another KB browser to attempt to get in here...... as it kept on 'timing out' all the time.

Blardy frustrating....... !

It was working fine this morning........

He's saying it not's KB's problem, nor your computer. The problem probably lies with one of the 'gateway' servers your particular connection goes through to get to KB.

yep guys I realise it aint a KB issue once SpankMe expained it... in his post above..

Im one of the non comp geek's that dont fully understand the jibber jabber words when he showed the routes used to get throu all the servers etc......

but I did understand what he meant......

There are just times when you want to throw the comp out the window.....
