Any heard of Total lubricants just bought two 1ltr botles of 10w40 API SL synthetic based oil this any good or should i stick it in the farm bike????:scooter:

The bottle says its 'formulated by Total in France'.

Total is part of the Totalfinaelf group which is french, should be good stuff

total is a sub brand of elf oils cheaper bit like repco brand oil is mobil with out some of the additives check elfoil.com

A friend ran Total synthetic oil in a big block chev. Engine was powering a race boat, huge HP. Flipped the boat at around 100mph recently, hull & drive-train were totalled. The engine internals were as good as new. It's good shit, the WRC guys are sponsored by them & they don't come cheap (unlike Dover).

the higher the API rating, the better quality it is
eg S = For petrol engine. The second letter designates the quality level
A= lowest quality, so L = a very high quality. The motul oil i use is only a SJ.

Cool as long as its as good as motul, is the stuff you use synthetic???
