Anyone seen SAW III ?

I quite enjoyed it. Better then SAW II and I love how it connects well to the 1st film.

My mrs was having a good time, covering her mouth and going "ewwwwww! and omg!"

People who like that kind of film should be euthanised. They have learned to enjoy pain and associate suffering with pleasure. It's sick.
They are not human anymore.
Kill them all like dogs, organise free mass screenings all over the planet, lock the doors, and drop in the gas.

No no no...How about after we lock the doors we set up traps for them and get them to answer riddles and if they dont get the answer right we then gas them?

DOH! Of course, that is the logical solution. Thanks Mr Bender.

My fuck...you can't be serious?

Violence has always been a part of movies, just look back to the gangster films right back when movies first began.

Problem is everythings been done, viewers want something new, but they are sick of the standard blood and gore shoot 'em up.

There's a reason movies like Saw and Hostel win awards, it's because they are good...

Maybe something like Brokeback Mountain is more your scene? A good story of romance where you can sit and weep like the little girl you are...

lol.

But yea, saw isn't senseless violence, it's a pretty cool story :)

Horrors do nothing for me in fact half the time I fall asleep watching them....But give
me a good Psychological thriller

10 years ago I saw "Seven" and thought that nothing could ace that
scaryness.....until...........10 years later there was

SAW 1. Saw 1 makes "Seven" look like a kindagarten picnic :shit:

That would have to have been the scariest thriller movie ever produced.

That freaky dummy thing with the mask that was riding the bike - is
blimmin frightening

I've downloaded Saw 3 but haven't watched it yet so can't comment...

I still think the power-drill-through-the-kneecap in Hostel will remain in my mind as the sickest moment of them all....

No...not nice at all, although the poorly done special effects on this part ruined it completely...it was so unrealistic...

Havn't seen Saw III yet. Seen Saw I & Saw II and Hostel... Those types of movies are... disturbing, not scary. Simply becuase there are nutjobs out there capable of doing such things to people... unlike zombie flicks that have nothing real in them... I prefer Saw type movies simply because it "could" be real...

Sam and I opted to watch Apocolypto (or however its spelt) instead of Saw III and now I wish we had watched Saw III cause Mel Gibsons new movie was rather long... boring... and had subtitles... Oh well... at least it had boobies in it... even though they weren't that great...

With that one sentence, dear Tammy, you both paint an eloquent critical picture of the film and provide an illuminating insight into your own psyche.

.

Exactly.

I heard Saw 111 was gorier with a lot more red stuff flying about...which is probably making it fall into that unreal horror catagory :zzzz: so i'm not going to see it

It's just one of those films where you can't really talk about it much otherwise you ruin the story.

You just have to watch it.

I just thought it was funny as that part was pretty senseless. She was gunna die anyway but then she got her face blown off for good measure.
Also working at a cinema, I get to see people as they come out of that film. The colour of their faces says it all.

That movie must be the only one I have seen that I repetedly said "Awwww Farrrrrk" every couple of minutes. And I dont normally bat an eyelid with horror flicks, with the exception of my wedding video.

Hello Amanda. You don't know me, but I know you. I want to play a game. Here's what happens if you lose. The device you are wearing is hooked into your upper and lower jaw. When the timer in the back goes off, your mouth will be permanently ripped open. Think of it like a reverse bear trap. Here, I'll show you. There is only one key to open the device. It's in the stomach of your dead cellmate. Look around Amanda. Know that I'm not lying. Better hurry up. Live or die, make your choice.

Didnt like the first 20 minutes as it was pure gore... But after that, awesome, ofcourse there was gore. But i liked the phsycological part of it. What would you do??? Help those that had helped keep your sons killer out of jail. Or stop them from having a brutal death... The ending was great!!! Not a hollywood ending, but having an ending of everything ends up bad. Saw 3 tied in very nicely to Saw 1...
