Superbrace for forks

I recently had some random ask me to add him as a friend on MySpace and when looking at his profile saw his product that he was advertising...

I've read a bit of the information and checked out his website, and basically its an extra brace for your forks to add stability at speed...

So I thought I'd post it on here incase anyone would like to check them out and possibly buy one...

Well I dunno... Was the first time I saw it, so assumed it may be useful... but obviously not... you live and you learn

Once upon a time forks were really thin an spindly and wobbled about a bit on big bikes braking hard, so braces weren't a bad idea, hence the 80's comment.

Ahhh... I wasn't looking at them for my bike... not planning on keeping the ZXR long enough to care about the forks that much...

So pretty much from what you've said it would only be worth wasting money on if you had an early 80's model sports bike?

Well that depends... it's not original, so no good for keeping your classic 'just so'. If you're not staying original, you might as well step in the realm of cartridge fork front ends, and the big brake loving that generally comes with them (not to mention a 17" wheel and the rubber that comes with them). Getting a little out of my knowledge base, but a GS thou or an early GSXR1100 might get some loving from them.

Good way of increasing your unsprung weight or if made/fitted by the correct sort of Muppet will lock the forks solid with stiction, - but this will probably help seal life so it's not all bad.

A better way is to clamp the preferably larger axle or deeper lower triple clamp. Hardly an issue on modern forks.
