Realised it as soon as I posted - mistakenly thought it was news as it had just appeared on the front page of Stuff! Changed the title and was halfway through a new post but you guys were too quick - damn you! But thanks for calling me sweetie, I have been called much worse recently...

Hmmm, in Kerikeri its 29+ degrees, no clouds and instant sweat as soon as you put on your gear. The humidity is insane (compared to Wgtn anyway) Its simply to hot to move and ive been at the beach everday for the last 2 weeks (almost). Its definately summer here.
Napier had 32 degrees yesterday....
YAY! I'll be in Napier on Thursday! I hope that Wellington weather has "pulled its socks up"!

The temperature gauge says 23C and about 84% humidity but it's cool enough to be wearing tracksuit pants, a sweatshirt and slippers! And it's really wet - good for the paddocks but nothing much else. Mind you, I actually DO have some work to do, so I suppose I better pull finger...

It's basically been clouded over, and quite mild in Nelson since like the 4th of Jan. Today it's been raining, and is windy and actually cold.
This summer has been the wierdest I have ever seen in any place.

Weather is a fascinating subject..... icebergs off the coast of the South Island, Monsoon style rains in parts of Oz that have been in drought for 5+ years, and torrential flooding in Europe.
I blame the SUV drivers.

Sometimes some crimes

Gumshoes
Are picking up the slack
There's no case too big

When you need help just call

Rescue Rangers

When there's danger
No, No, it never fails
Once they're involved
Somehow whatever's wrong gets solved

I'd go jump in the lake but it's used to cool 6 power stations. Vale Point is across from the house. I mean literally jump in the lake as I live on the edge of Lake Macquarie. Luckily there's no water shortage in the Hunter/Newcastle/Lake Macqaurie region, so it's off to the swmming pools at Morisset.

This summer must be bad. We went to Nelson and Blenheim and it rained for only the second time while we were there.
