Gee-whiz what a ride, don’t think I have ever been as fast as I did today on the straights. Was interesting to see a NZ courier/post van clocking up around 150km/h WTF :gob: .
As for passing cars hate to think how many we clocked up especially around the gorge.
I don’t know how my colleague's and I really ended up in the group going around Wangamata way but all I can say it was totally thrill seeking. Not my comfortable type of riding but hey what are bikes for then. My work colleague Gordon on his SV1000 did pretty well considering how few km's he has done.
In all, a good ride, and nice to meet some new people even I did not meet you personally.

Hmm do I smell melting/burning brakes/calliper’s lol :shit:

What was the full story on that and how bad was the damage to whomever’s bike it was? Hope it’s an easy and not too expensive to fix.

think he had an off the other day.
and putting his breaks back together he used a fully threaded bolt going through its pads/caliper......so the pad caught on the thread and wouldn't return.

Great trip there and back thanks qks :ride: .We had a great day catching up with every one and watching the racing my favorites are the sidecars :yes:as for me head was thumping by the time we got home so took a couple pain killers and straight to bed. I would say it was a bit of sun stroke.
