Where do I get insurance for my VT250? Everyone wants like 800 bucks for a full cover. 25 years old. Had my 400hp race cars... and just want a bike for cruising....?

Thanks

i like my insurance, $40 for a 15000 motorcycle dc:<, and it should only cost me about $350ish next year for insurance

Using john baker insurance, with ulysses membership, as well as bulk discount, 6 motorbikes worth more than 100k

Do a search of this site for insurance. There's already been a couple of threads with various brokers & firms and their contact details supplied.

IIRC - A few people here are with Vero, who are supposed to be quite good, and cheap.

Yep. Through a particular broker who's name & number have been mentioned in at least 2 insurance threads that I know of.

Do the search & you should find all the info in one (or two) place/s already.

Just did and the cheapest out of the lot.

Take that quote to the next cheapest and ask them to beat it.

Then negotiate down further.

Go and see the manager.

Go into the branch and point out that you have driven xyz before and you have no need for speed here

Negotiate it down even further.

Point out it is a 250cc bike.

Then settle on a insurer, or even repeat a few of these steps for good measure.
